Students from 400 Arizona elementary schools completed the Challenge, and 44 of the schools reported 100 percent participation from their fifth-graders. Nadaburg Elementary School of Wittmann received a $2,500 grant from BCBSAZ in a drawing from a pool of theschools that reported 100 percent participation.
Students who walked 10,000 steps every day during the month of February were eligible to win an iMac® computer or one of 50 iPod® shuffles. The winning students were sent their prizes in early April.
The iMac® winner is from Porter Elementary in Mesa.
