Walk On! Challenge kits include a tracking brochure for each of your students, an in-class motivational poster and an in-class tracking poster. Since the program now tracks minutes instead of steps, pedometers are no longer part of the Walk On! Challenge and will not be included in the Walk On! Challenge kit. Please submit your order for your students’ Walk On! Challenge kits by December 18, 2009.

As students tie their laces and start stretching to gear up for the fourth annual Walk On! Challenge, teachers will need to stretch their� voice. That's right. Teachers will have the chance to win prizes by simply spreading the word about Walk On! Teachers who participate and who refer a new classroom to participate in the 2009 Walk On! Challenge will both be entered to win one of four $250 Visa gift cards. To be eligible for the gift card both teachers must submit their results at the end of the Walk On! Challenge. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona is thankful for the continued support of Arizona teachers in making Walk On! a success. With your help we were able to make a difference in nearly 11,000 children's health and overall lifestyle during last year's Challenge. To continue our fight against childhood obesity, we need your voice to help us this year. Share or follow the instructions below to participate in the 2009 Walk On! Refer a Friend program. New to Walk On! - Fill out the "Referred By" field when you sign up and order your tool kit on azblue.com/walkon beginning November 10. At the end of the Challenge be sure to submit your classroom's results at azblue.com/walkon. Encourage the person who referred you to submit their results as well for both of you to be eligible to win one of the four $250 Visa gift cards. Referring and new teachers who submit their results will be eligible for the $250 Visa gift card. Winners will be chosen at random and the four teachers will be announced and receive their prizes on or before April 20, 2009.
